FIVE MINUTES TO ETERNITY

Five minutes to eternity

The clock stands still

Time is frozen

My thoughts too

As frosted fingers reach out

And my thawed heart gives in

A Smile is what breaks free

MEANDERING LEAF

Meandering in peace

Gurgling in happiness

The Clear water flows!

A leaf caressed by the gentle currents! 

I float on, in blissful silence! 

NIGHTINGALE

The nightingale sings!

The heart rejoices!

No thought

No feelings

No qualia

No consciousness

Just a magical moment! 

HAPPY SPRING

Oh look at this fresh morning

The sun is shining

New leaves, new life

Birds singing with new passion

Flowers adorn the once barren tree

My caged heart is again free

Oh! Blessed am I to see another spring!

BECLOUDED IN BLISS

Floating or flying not lucid to say

Dreams and illusions interplay

Crystal blue and ever clear skies

Placid hue of oceanic turquoise

Somewhere between; a beclouded existence?

Intangible; without form or feeling

Headless thoughts endlessly reeling

Conscious remnants still floating

Floating in the dream of Eternal bliss!

HERE AND NOW

Happiness is here and now

And here and now is bliss!

The winds of thoughts may sway you to the future

And clouds of uncertainty may rain

But all of that is an illusion!

All of that is untrue!

For Happiness is here and now

And this Happiness is bliss!

Rusty anchors of the past may drag you with regret and sorrow

And chains of attachment may pull you down

But all of that is an illusion

All of that that is untrue

For, happiness is here and now

And here and now is bliss!

BLISS OF NOT KNOWING

The ticking clock does not know what a moment of time is!

The glowing Light does not know what brightness is!

The spinning earth does not know what the feel of the ground is!

The infinitely blue sky does not know what vastness is!

Yet with a still mind; I can sense all these and much more!

Oh reasoning mind of mine!

There is much more to life; than what you can ever sense!

So let go of your fluttering thoughts and become this everlasting bliss!

IN THEE

Oh Lord! Benevolent and merciful!

Maker of the thinker and his thought!

In thy boundless mercy; I surrender myself!

As the world of thy making stands still

And the sunshine spreads between the trees

My sentience is filled with thy magnificence!

All my pointless worries and fears!

All my pride; and all my anger!

Vanish as evanescent mist in thy brilliance!

Oh Lord!  I humbly surrender to thee; all that I call myself!

For, in thee, I have lost my miseries!

In thee, I have become one!

In thee, I have tasted the sweetness of eternal bliss!

Oh lord! Savior of my unworthy soul!

I humbly surrender myself to thee!
