BAMBOO GARDEN

The garden is  alive and  green  


stone lanterns and bamboo stand tall 


Silent rocks and raked up gravel 


As the water trickles in the stream  


Deep within the stillness 


The Lotus  blossoms

LOTUS OF WISDOM

Shining brightly

The glowing light of wisdom!

compassion buds

The lotus blossums

Joy overflows

Deep within the ocean of suffering

The ego drowns ! 

FINS AND PETALS

Golden sunlight reflects on the evanescent ripples

The water is clear and blue

 Safe under the  shadow  of the  pink lotus

With fins swaying and gills smiling

The little fishes dance in bliss !   

LOTUS OF MY HEART

Let the lotus of my heart blossom with love

Let me flower! Flower to the warmth of the morning sun

Let me dance! Dance to the tune of the rippling waves

Let me spread! Spread compassion with my embracing roots

Let me rise! Rise above the murkiness of my mind

Let me fill! Fill the empty sky with Love’s ecstatic fragrance  

Let the lotus of my heart blossom and shine

Let me blossom with everlasting love!
