CHOCKING DESCENT
The door of the elevator closes
shut
The darkness of the soul and the
dingy cabin
Both descend!
As the floors pass by!
One by one! One by one!
Breathing the musty encroaching air
A heavy thought descends upon me
Descends upon me and chokes!
A gruff voice within, asks me in my
ear?
Tell me you fool!
Why are you still you alive?
