PUDDLED DELIGHT

Sudden showers on a summer night

Puddles filled with street lights

Leaves sprouting

Hearts glowing

Happiness and joy

Now rippling in delight!

FINS AND PETALS

Golden sunlight reflects on the evanescent ripples

The water is clear and blue

Safe under the  shadow  of the  pink lotus

With fins swaying and gills smiling

The little fishes dance in bliss !

PALE NOVEMBER MOON

Reflecting on the cold pond

Ripples wriggle

The fish swim below

Deep within the still mind

The  pale November moon !

DANCING RIPPLES

Two ripples in a pond

By this pebble!

Formed by chance!

Together now in this  moment

Resonating in one another!

Hastened by transience!

Entwined by the presence!

Weaving patterns that readily vanish

Joyful as long as our time lasts

Tell me my dear

Why don’t we smile and dance?

THE RIPPLE

In the stillness of the silent waters

Someone drops a pebble

Neither in the water; nor in the pebble

Yet, here I am, rippling in bliss!

Existing now, and so sooner, never more!

Transient yet real; caused now to cease later

Euphoric awareness, ready to vanish forever

Sparkling here and now, in this rippling bliss!

EMPTY HULL ACROSS THE RIVER

The lonesome boat has crossed the swelling river

But no soul has left its deck

The craving, the seeking; the futile frustration

The thoughtless waves and rising ripples

Still pointlessly rock within this empty hull!
