GRASS OF HOPE

Though a crack on the highway

Moistened by yesterday’s rain

The grass of hope sprouts!

RAINBOW OF HOPE

The rain drops still trickle and fall

The grass and trees are brighter green

Across the stone wall of this ancient fort

Arching into the empty blueness of the sky

The Rainbow is ever so faint

Deep within!

A mind sighs!

Oh! Is this the illusion of Hope?
