Reaching out in diffidence !
scorched by the heat of the sun and gust
Coated by the grayness of the dust
Neither wilting
nor withering!
Waiting for the missing rain!
A troubled life
lived by the road !
Blossoms of orange, white, and purple!
Smiling stoically even in senescence!
