What has become of you ! Oh My  soul!

Once a shining star in the sky

You had led me!

Now a flickering lamp

In the cold winter wind !

What has become of you!

Across mountains and oceans

Valleys and gulleys

You had  led me with delight

Now you left me stranded

Within the desert of my very own mind

What has become of you!

A prophet  you were, once to me

Now you have left me to drown in my own strife

Fickle and petty

Selfish , hateful

A shallow heart full of spite

What have you made me into !

In the desire for freedom!

 Have you snared  yourself into this trap

This trap of you own making !

Oh ! How long will you go around in circles!

Circles  of greed, hatred and illusion !

Oh! What has become of you !

Have you  forgotten the sweetness Love

Have you  forgotten the warmth  of happiness

Have you  forgotten the clarity of wisdom
